In NASA Space Grant Midwest High-Power Rocket Competition held in the United States of America, with the participation of more than (50) teams from different universities and research centers sponsored by NASA, the Military Technical College achieved the first place in the Oral presentation and the second place in the overall ranking. The team also won the award for the best “external design of the rocket” and the award for the best “control circuits design and sensor usage”. The competition aims to design and build a high-power rockets using one engine and one stage with the ability to successfully carry out (2) rocket launches. the participating teams will be evaluated in several stages including: “detailed technical reports, laboratory and field experiments, and presentations” based on which the top teams will be selected to participate in the final stage in the United States of America (launching phase). These successes underscore the prestigious scientific standing of the Military Technical College among major educational institutions worldwide.
