Doctor of Philosophy Degree

• The candidate for the Doctor of Philosophy Degree should hold a M.Sc. degree in engineering in the same field from MTC or any other Egyptian engineering college or hold any equivalent degree.

• The specialization field of the Ph.D. degree should be the same field of B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees awarded to the applicant.

• The applicant should not be registered for other postgraduate studies in Egypt and should not conduct any registration during the period of studies.

• The candidate applicants should pass the acceptance examination (scientific exams and English language (TOEFL) with score not less than 500 degrees).

Master of Science Degree in Engineering

• The applicant for the Master of Science Degree should hold a B.Sc. in engineering in the corresponding specialization field from the MTC or from any local engineering college or should hold an equivalent degree as approved from the MTC teaching council. The applicant grade should be at least "Good" in his B.Sc. study and GPA (2.7 minimum).

• MTC council has the right to look over the requirements of the score or the GPA if the M.Sc. candidate applicant holds the higher diploma in the field of study from the MTC or any other Egyptian engineering college, or holds any equivalent degree approved by the MTC council. The cumulative grade should be at least “good” and the GPA (2.7 minimum).

• The M.Sc. candidate applicant in engineering mathematics and engineering physics should hold a B.Sc. from MTC or any other Egyptian engineering college or should hold any equivalent degree as approved by the MTC education council. Candidate cumulative grade should be at least "Good" in his B.Sc. study and GPA (2.7 minimum). Prior admission, the candidate should spend one year studying qualification subjects, should pass with a grade of at least “good” and GPA (2.7 minimum).

• The M.Sc. candidate applicant should not be registered in postgraduate engineering studies at any other Egyptian college and should not conduct any registration during this period.

• The candidate applicants should pass the acceptance examination (scientific exams and English language (TOEFL) with score not less than 450 degrees) except for assistant officers at MTC and researchers from the Technical Research Center of the Armed Forces, Defense Systems Studies center, and Aviation Research and Development center.

Diploma in Engineering & Operation Research

• The applicant for the Diploma should hold a B.Sc in engineering except the applicant for Operations Research Diploma who should hold a B.Sc. from any accredited college in any specialization according to MTC council decision. In addition, the diplomas guidance book explains the requirements of the specialized bachelor degrees and the study plan for each diploma.

• The proposed field of study of the Diploma should be an extension of the field of study of the B.Sc except for mathematical engineering and physical engineering.

• The applicant should pass the acceptance examination.
