Organization of the annual science fair of the Military Technical College. During the event, the assistant of the Minister of Defence and Military Production and the General Commander of the Armed Forces had opened the science fair of participating projects from Military Technical College and other Egyptian universities. At the end of the ceremony, the outstanding projects had been awarded.
The Military Technical College Team was one of 18 teams competing in the NASA’s Space Grant Midwest High-power Rocket Competition, held in Minnesota, Minneapolis from May 18-20. The Space Grant Midwest High-Power Rocket Competition is intended to supply student teams from colleges and universities with the opportunity to demonstrate engineering and design skills through practical application. Teams will conceive, design, document, fabricate, and fly custom high-power rockets to accomplish specific goals. The restrictions on rocket motors and dimensions are limited so that knowledge, creativity, and imagination of the students are challenged. The end result is a great aerospace experience for college/university students that would not otherwise be available in the region.
The AUVSI SUAS Competition is designed to foster interest in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), stimulate interest in UAS technologies and careers, and to engage students in a challenging UAS mission. The competition requires students to design, integrate, report on, and demonstrate a UAS capable of autonomous flight and navigation, remote sensing via onboard payload sensors, and execution of a specific set of tasks.
The University Rover Challenge is to design and build the next generation of Mars rovers that will one-day work alongside human explorers in the field. Military Technical College Rover Team (Pharaohs) participated for the fifth year in University Rover Challenge in USA. In 2019, The competition was among 95 ranked universities from all over the world.
Organization of the 5th International Under-Graduate Research Conference, IUGRC-2021 on Aug 9-12, 2021, which is the first conference dedicated to the research projects of undergraduates, aiming to improve the creativity and innovation skills of the undergraduates of Egyptian, Arab and international universities.
Organization of the 5th International Competition for Innovation in Unmanned Systems, UMSIC-2021 on Aug 7-12, 2021. The UMSIC offers design experience at the very cutting edge of engineering education. It provides an opportunity for engineering students from multi-disciplinary branches to design, test, and produce unmanned systems capable of performing several missions autonomously or remotely within a specified range. The competition is limited to three topics: Unmanned Maritime Vehicles Competition (UMVC), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Competition (UAVC), and Unmanned Ground Vehicles Competition (UGVC).

The “Pharaohs” team from the Military Technical College students won second place with superiority in the international competition for universities entitled (University Rover Challenge June 2021), which is organized annually by the Mars Desert Research Station in the United States of America
As a part of the consolidation of fruitful relations between Military Technical College and national universities and institutes in Arab Republic of Egypt, The supreme Council of universities (Commission engineering sector) held in the presence of all deans of engineering faculties and deans of Egyptian technical institutes at Military Technical College to support comprehensive cooperation and joint scientific work and research, and the connection between Military Technical College and Egyptian universities.
