The Military Technical College offers study programs leading to the Diploma in Engineering and Operations Research . A complete list of Diplomas offered is found in the Academics section.

 
The Diploma  Requirements:
The applicant for the Diploma should hold a B.Sc in engineering except the applicant for  Operations Research Diploma who should hold a B.Sc. from any accredited college in any specialization.
The proposed field of study of the Diploma should be an extension of the field of study of the B.Sc.
The applicant should pass the acceptance examination.
 
The Master of Science Degree in Engineering (M.Sc.) Requirements
The applicant  for the Master of Science Degree should hold a B.Sc. in engineering with grade of at least "Good" in his B.Sc. study.
The proposed field of study of the M.Sc. should be an extension of the field of study of the B.Sc.
The applicant should pass the acceptance examination
Re-examination of some  courses is allowed during the program.
 
The  Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Engineering (Ph.D.) Requirements:
The applicant for the Doctor of Philosophy Degree should hold a M.Sc.  degree in the same field of the proposed study for the Ph.D. degree.
The applicant should pass the qualifying exams held in three or  four courses specified by the department offering the degree during the first semester.
Repeating the qualifying courses is not allowed and failure in any exam terminates the preliminary registration.
 
Registration
The Diploma :
The Diploma in Engineering & Operations Research :
1.

The applicant satisfying the admission requirements is registered for a period of two academic years.

2. The registration is terminated in the following cases:
 
- Exceeding the allowable absence period (20% of the total period of study).
- Failure in re-examination of any of the courses.
- If the reports of the supervisors and the department offering the Diploma show that the candidate is not serious or unable to continue his study.
- If the candidate does not submit and defend his Diploma Project within the allowable registration period.
 
The Master of Science Degree in Engineering
1. The applicant satisfying the admission requirements is registered for a period of two academic years as a full-time candidate.
2. The maximum registration period within which the candidate should satisfy  all the requirements for the M.Sc. degree is four years
3. The registration is terminated in the following cases:
 
- Exceeding the allowable absence period (20% of the whole period of  study).
- Failure in  re-examination of any of the courses.
- Scoring less than 30% of the full-mark in any of the course exams.
- If the reports of the supervisors and the department offering the  degree show that the candidate is not serious or unable to continue his study.
- If the candidate does not submit and defend his M.Sc. thesis within the maximum allowable registration period.
 
The Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Engineering
1. The applicant satisfying the admission requirements is registered for a period of three academic years as a full-time candidate.
2. The maximum registration period within which the candidate should submit and defend his dissertation work is five years.
3.

The registration is terminated in the following cases:

 
- failure in the qualifying examination of any of the specified courses.
- exceeding the allowable absence period (20% of the whole period of study).
- if the reports of the supervisors and the department offering the degree  show that the candidate is not serious or unable to continue his study.
- if the candidate does not submit and defend his dissertation within the maximum allowable registration period.
